What kick-started Ripple back in 2018? My gut instinct that there was a better way to build a brand. Not just make it look good - but make it work hard. I’ve always believed that great design doesn’t happen in isolation. It starts with clarity, direction, and purpose. In other words - strategy. 

Fast forward seven years and Ripple has grown into a full-service creative agency with a deep bench of talent, a loyal client base and a reputation for delivering fearless ideas that actually move the needle.  

None of which happened by accident. Every step has been guided by strategy - from the work we do to the way we’ve built the business itself. 

From design studio to strategic partner 

A graphic designer and Big Culchie (capital letters!) at heart, I like things that are practical, considered and well-built. And I’ve always had a natural curiosity about how things work - not just how they look. 

That thinking shaped our earliest client work. We weren’t just designing brochures - we were asking: 

What’s the goal here? 
Who’s this really for? 
What are we trying to achieve? 

We quickly realised that to build brands that lasted, we had to look upstream. That meant running workshops, interrogating business objectives, helping clients uncover who they are and where they want to go.  

Because strategy isn’t a service you bolt on. It's a way of thinking that we build into everything.

Back in 2024, we also established ClickBuilder – our deliberately distinct sister company and digital marketing specialist – to meet the growing need for straightforward, streamlined solutions that keep businesses visible, agile and competitive online.  

For our current clients, that means more opportunities to amplify an existing brand strategy, or Clickbuilder’s services be engaged independently. The benefit? Flexibility, consistency and a joined-up approach – wherever you’re starting from.
