Meet Lauren. Thoughtful design, proper work ethic.

The kind of Designer you can build with...
Meet the whirlwind that is Lauren, our newest Junior Designer
Say hello to Lauren, one of our Junior Graphic Designers and a brilliant example of what “built-in, not bolt-on” actually looks like in real life.
Lauren joined Ripple after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and Illustration from Ulster University, alongside a Diploma in Professional Practice. But what really stands out isn’t just the qualification. It’s the work ethic behind it.
While studying full-time, Lauren’s proven her commitment to doing a great job by working as a barista and doing night shifts as a care assistant. That combination tends to do something important to a person: it sharpens standards, builds resilience and teaches you how to show up properly.
Lauren carries that mindset straight into her design work.
“I love turning ideas into visuals that feel thoughtful, engaging and on-brand.”
At Ripple, Lauren works across digital and print, creating brand assets, marketing collateral and campaign visuals that align with strategy, guidelines and real-world constraints.
She’s calm under pressure, organised across multiple projects, and open to feedback without losing the thread of the idea.
In an agency environment, that matters.
“Seeing a project evolve from an initial brief into a final design that the client is genuinely excited about. That’s what makes it worthwhile.”
Lauren brings a considered, detail-driven approach to every brief, with a strong instinct for typography, layout and consistency. She’s collaborative by nature, clear in how she communicates, and quietly confident in her decisions. It's a combination that’s seen her quickly gain the trust of our demanding clients.
When asked what really counts in design, her answer says a lot about how she thinks:
“Understanding the reasoning behind each design decision is just as important as the final result.”
Outside the studio, you’ll find Lauren playing guitar, listening to her beloved vinyl collection and staying creatively curious beyond screens and software. Lauren is also proving popular in the studio because she’s an excellent baker. Plus, a bonus fact: Irish is one of her first languages - she’s been speaking it since nursery.
Does this girl ever stop???
Looking ahead, Lauren’s focused on growing the right way: taking more ownership, strengthening her craft, and helping shape consistent, high-quality brand work alongside the team.
“Long term, I want to grow within the agency and contribute to building strong, meaningful brands.”
We’re very glad she’s building that future with us.
